Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Uptempo Plum and swatches of today's haul

I wasn't feeling very well yesterday, I stayed in bed all morning. The sun was actually out, so I had a need to go out and enjoy it a little bit. I went to the beauty supply stores that are in my neighborhood, although I don't usually shop at them, they do have a selection of what seems like regular "beauty supply" fare.

I picked up glitters, although I don't like to wear glitters, they look amazing in the bottle. They cheered me up, especially that pink one!

I actually picked 2 Color Club glitters, but it turns out that I already have Sakura Glow (which will get added to my first giveaway) I think the Color Club glitters are part of the Japanese glitters that VNS has in stock. I have only found minis of these, but at $0.99 it is the right price, and I doubt I will ever need more than that.

Not too bad a haul for $6.00 + tax!

Today I am wearing Sally Hansen Uptempo Plum, which I am sorry to say looks a little black. Every time I was in my drugstore I would pick it up and look at it. I finally decided to buy it. I like it, and it fit my mood perfectly right now.

This is 2 coats, and I sorta kinda like their brush. You have to make sure that you remove as much polish from the stem as you can, and then remove some from the brush too, otherwise you will completely flood your cuticles. Anyway on to the pictures...

Hopefully we have some sunlight tomorrow, to see if it turns out into a beauty! (I am keeping my fingers crossed)
