Foil Silver Dots

I needed something cheerful... and I can't think of anything more cheerful than this...

I can't believe that this is the last day of April. This year is just flying by...
This blog has been live for 4 full months already! I wanted to THANK YOU ALL for coming along for the ride. I REALLY appreciate it. You and your comments make my day =P
The first picture does not have a top coat (I actually remembered to take a picture =/ even if it is of my usually unseen right hand... please forgive that it was before clean up )

and this is after the top coat, it dulled the flashy bits ALOT... still need to try a different top coat that will not change the finish of the foil.
Please let me know if you guys know of a top coat that is very runny... although I can a;ways try to add some thinner to the one that I am using now... something to think about.

Sephora by OPI Havana Dreams and Chanel Illusion D'Or

Here is the last one of the polishes that I picked uo from the Havana collection. Although I <3 blues, I was not liking this polish. It was a bit streaky, this ended up being 3 coats, at that point I gave up with it. I don't believe that I have a dupe to this color in my collection. I love lavenders, but baby blues don't do a thing for me!
I truly believe if you are going to go for color, really GO FOR IT! and do something bright and lively

It is more like the last picture... It needed something...
all I saw was Illusion D'Or in a ton of blogs yesterday, so I figured I would jumpt into the bandwagon =P
This is my first Chanel polish, and even though I am not a fan of golds it looked very unique.

I believe it need a darker base to bright out the whole beauty that is Illusion D'Or, but it did make this manicure a little bit more interesting. Do you guys like it?

Milani Dot Com

This is the only polish that I picked up from the new collection from Milani. The silver looked too much like SH Celeb City, and I don't like gold on my, but when I saw this beauty I HAD to pick it up! This is 2 coats and it is a beauty!
Isn't it just amazing!

It reminds me of HC Mr. Wrong, although you can see all the purple on me and Mr Wrong, but they are really nothing alike.
On the right is a picture of Mr. Wrong from last time I wore it.
They are not even family as Dot Com looks more like a foil, and Mr. Wrong has gold glitter in it.
They are both beautiful and unique.

Lay it on Me - no name

I was so excited to receive this polish. I know it says do not shake... but what is the first thing I did?... I added a stainless steel ball and shook the heck out of it! I think it turned out very pretty, even if it is a bit dark. It is a very dark purple almost black although not all the way there. This was 2 coats!

EDIT: I didn't even try it unshaken!... Total fail! I was just so excited to shake the heck out of it that it didn't even cross my mind *blush*

Comparison of $OPI Ocean Love Potion, $OPI Read My Palm, Essie Greenport, and Orly Gumdrop

Index fingerr: Sephora by OPI Ocean Love Potion
Middle finger: Sephora by OPI Read My Palm
Ring finger: Essie Greenport
Pinkie : Orly Gumdrop
The only thing that is different in these pictures is the white balance. Please forgive the mess... I try to do comparisons before completely removing the manicure I had the day before.
No dupes, although they are all part of the same family.
This just means that I have amased quite a green/minty collection... when did THAT happen?

H&M Dollar Green

I am still wearing Read my Palm, so I figured I would show you something new!

I believe this was 3 coats and a bit of a mess, please forgive the cuticles! I didn't think they sold polishes in the H&M stores in the United States, but I found this one. it was along a light blue, and a pink. So you never know sometimes =P
Of course it is nothing as special as the ones available in Europe. How I envy you guys!

Sephora by OPI Read My Palm

This was a 2 coater. It is a great color although it looks familiar. It is not quite a minty green, it is a true green. It reminds me of green Jade. I am loving that it is a little bit dusty. I tried to play with all the white balance settings my camera has, and I think this is the one that came closest to the color.

Comparison of Sephora by OPI Caribbean Cocktail and Ulta Alter Ego

Index and Ring finger: Ulta Alter Ego
Middle and Pinkie: Sephora by OPI Caribbean Cocktail
There are a whole lot of pictures because I wanted you to see it in different lights, and I believe we have a dupe! My mom could not tell that the color was different. They are very similar!
I did not add China Glaze Blue Island Iced Tea because it look very silver compared to these two.

Sephora by OPI Caribbean Cocktail

Caribbean Cockatail is sheer. I did 4 coats to make sure that i had bald  patches anywhere. It is a very pretty glass flaked finish blue, I would say a medium blue.

Before I take it off I will do a comparison with Ulta Alter Ego, and China Glaze Blue Island Iced Tea; I think these 2 are the closest that I have to this color.
I am trying to see if I have any dupes... I don't have space for dupes at this time =P

Comparison Of Sephora by OPI Teal We Meet again, Ulta Envy, Sinful Colors See You Soon

Index finger: Ulta Envy
Middle and Pinkie: Sephora By OPI Teal We Meet Again
Ring finger: Sinful Colors See You Soon
No dupes... Teal We Meet Again was looking a little green all day, but next to Envy you can tell that it has a little blue. See You Soon in on a black base, so not even close! I wish I had Nubar's Earth so I could compare them for you, but I don't! =P I think they might be close by looking at the swatches out there.
Teal We Meet Again is (for the moment) unique in my collection.

Sephora by OPI Teal We Meet Again

I picked up 4 out of 6 colors in this collection. here is the description from the Sephora site:

The Sephora by OPI Havana Nights shades are inspired by the sophisticated glamour of the Havana depicted in classic movies, as well as by this summer's penchant for vivid color. It is at night that Havana reveals its true colors, salsa rhythms, and seductive energy. Uncover the key to romance at its hottest with this must-have hue.
I don't know about ALL that... lol

Teal We Meet Again is a beautiful teal, with similar finish to Ulta Envy, and I can't find My Wet N Wild Craze Envy at this moment, btu I would say they are familiar. Although a blue-green. I wouls compare it to Nubar's Earth, but I don't have that color.
Anyway here it is... This is 2 coats...

It is a very pretty color... Although it seems very familiar... I think I am going to have Smurf fingers when I take this off =(

Please share if you guys have any idea to which colors I should compare this to. if I have it I will do a comparison.

Comparison of Nars Tokaido Express and OPI Lincoln Park at Midnight

Index, and Ring finger: OPI Lincoln Park at Midnight
Middle and Pinkie finger: Nars Tokaido Express
They are not dupes of each other the shimmer is the Nars is more pronounced, although I think I prefer the color in the OPI. It is less brownish than the Nars.
What do you guys think?
