How about some swatches?

Did is what I was doing today, as you know I am trying to photograph all the colors I have. This is a HUGE undertaking. Anyway I figured you might want to see some swatches. They are a bit randon =P

Borghese Stellare Notte

OMG!!! OMG!!! I reached 100 followers!!! You guys ROCK!!!... alright enough exclamation points =P

I will work on finalizing what is going to be included in the giveaway, will post it when I am off this Sunday.

Today I have Borghese Stellare Notte. This is 2 coats, plus a quick dry. I had a difficult time capturing the different colors that flah in this polish. (this will be one of the polishes in the giveaway)

It is a very unique color, and it looks amazing in the bottle! This is one of the colors that was added to the permanent Borghese display at the drug stores around town. I have even started seeing it IN STOCK! So please don't dispair if you haven't found it yet.

Brucci Grape Galaxy

Anyway today I have Brucci's Grape Galaxy, everytime that I am at the drugstore I pick this bottle of polish up. A couple of months ago, I actually picked it up. And this is the first time I am wearing it =P Since purchasing it, I would still pick it up at the store, and think to myself... "I need to wear it!" The time has finally come... This is 2 coats with a quick dry top coat.

It seems a little bit like a foil. I am loving this one!

I can't wait for S P R I N G ! ! !

Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud with NK Magical

We are expecting another snow storm to pass by NYC today,  and I painted my nails accordingly.

I am tired of winter already. Everytime we look there is another snow storm coming, and it makes things a bit difficult. I am thankful that I live in Manhattan, and building owners clean the fron of their building, otherwise it would be an ugly mess.

Here is Lavender Cloud, a streaky mess. I had difficulty with this application, maybe some thinner would help. It looks like a white nail polish with one drop of purple (just to be able to justify the name!) This is 2 coats.

It was not quite right, so I added NK magical, and now it looks like wintry nails. I had a difficult time capturing this glitter, as it is a very light pink on the nail, and you can only see the blue when the light hits it.

Sahara 180

I have something different for you today.

Sahara 180, I have never heard of these polishes, and don't know where to buy them either. I received it as part of a swap when I went to Nails Night Out This past year. In the bottle it looks amazing, and I am happy to say that it doesn't dissapoint. This is 2 coats, with a quick dry top coat.

If anyone knows where to find these polishes please share. If this is one of the colors, I can't wait to see what else they can do!

Urban Decay Metropolitan

This is the last Urban Decay polish I picked up last month on Ebay.
I wish the UD polish was easily available in the United States =( This is 2 coats plus a quick dry top coat, great coverage!

It look s like the first 2 pictures, the 3rd picture is leaning al little to the red.

Sorry this is so short, but I am falling asleep as I type this. I don't want to be too incoherent. Although I love the olympics, I feel like I haven't gotten any sleep in the last week. I am SO tired that I believe I might even go to sleep soon.

Sinful Dream On & Diamond Cosmetic Swatches

Today I have on Sinful Dream On, it is redish purple neon, it dries matte as all neons tend to do, so I put on my quick dry top coat. It is a very pretty color, and my camera doesn't like neons at all. It is a little bit deeper than the pictures.

I started my swatching in earnest, and figured I might as well post them here =P

I am definitely going to have to use Hot Summer Pink as a full manicure, what an AMAZING color!

I had great application with these, the frosty ones tended to give some difficulties, but nothing terrible.

I am also including a look into my Collection. (it has not been updated for about a month... I got lots of work to do on it) I started to add links to all the colors that I have worn. This way i know how many colors I have left to swatch. I plan on doing full hand swatches, not the single finger swatches I did before the blog. I guess I might as well start this in earnest! This will not be able to happen until the Olympics are over though =P

GO BODE MILLER!!! He has won a full hardware collection in Vancouver, and it has been amazing to watch him rise to the occasion!

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Garnet Lapis

I had seen this color so many times in MUA, and I was in love! So I went looking for it in Ebay, and found it for a reasonable price.
This is 2 coats of Garnet Lapis (you only need one though) over 2 coats of Butter London Union Jack Black.

I took this last one at work today =P I kept looking at my nails ALL day...

Sorry for all the pictures, but it is a realt pain trying to capture a duochrome as strong as this one. I am glad that I got my hands on it. I picked up a couple more Nail Prisms as well. So you will get to see a couple more.
