I said I was going to swatch all my Zoyas! This is one of the greens that I received in the Friday after thanksgiving sale last year. I don't usually lilke greens, but I was not about to refuse 6 FREE polishes with a minimum purchase... so I got 6 greens to show you =P
This is 3 coats, and you can still see the nail line. I think it might be pretty over white.

On Tuesday the owner of the store I work at passed away. Today was the service. Although the store was closed, I was required to answer the phone board. I was not able to attend. I am going to miss Mr. Grodd, he will no longer be calling the store every hour. I am going to miss his voice and his laugh. An era has ended at Paul Stuart.
This is 2 coats of Raven.
RIP Mr. Grodd... You will be greatly missed by your Paul Stuart family...

We are taking a small break from Zoya and StreetWear polishes!
I wanted to show you the color that I have had on the last couple of days!
This is 4 coats of China Glaze Towel Boy Blue, as it is a neon the color dries matte.
Although it is a beautiful color all on its own, I added 2 layers of the new HD Spectrum By Sally Hansen. The glitter particles in Spectrum are almost the same color as Towel Boy Toy, and I think they look amazing together!
I took this next picture today during lunch, sorry about the quality it was taken with my cell phone.
It got to 96 degrees in NYC... and it isn't even Summer yet?!

This is 2 coats. Although I don't like matte polishes, I love that they dry so much faster than regular polishes. Which makes them the perfect polish for when you are in a hurry.
Here it is with top coat... sorry for the pinky, I bumped the nail on my desk.
This is a very pretty red... I have no idea how come I waited so long to try it!

I picked up the entire Resort collection this past weekend. And this is the first color I wear from it. it is the only color that I was nervous to see on me, but I think it looks very elegant. It makes my fingers look so long! This is 3 coats. And after a whole day with it on, I have minimal tip wear, always a plus with a neutral polish. It reminds me of sand... I can't wait for summer!
3 coats, another sheer this time with a blue flash. it should be very pretty over a french manicure.

I think I am going to have to swatch all the Zoya that I have before the exchange period is done next month! That is my next challenge!... And I don't have THAT many of them. I do have all their matte polishes. They look amazing with top coats!
This is Harlow, 2 coats.
and here it is with a top coat... do you see what I mean?!

When I put on AA Butter, I thought that it might be a dupe to Lemonade, but Lemonade is brighter.
Index finger and Ring finger: American Apparel Butter
Middle finger: Orly Lemonade
Pinky: Brucci Emmi and Olli Go Bananas
The quality on these American Apparel nail polish has not failed me. I expected great things from them since I loved all the colors I have tried previously. Both of these pastels were 2 coaters. They are a little thick, but I love that you can achieve coverage in 2 coats.
I am not one for pastels.
I love the yellow, and the peach... not so much =P
Now American Apparel has all the colors for the perfect Easter manicure: Butter, Sumemr Peach, L'Esprit, Office, and I am sure that they have a pink too... All they need is a baby blue!
These were provided to me by American Apparel.
I believe this was 2 coats, and it is one of the ugliest colors I have ever put on my nails! But it doesn't look bad... just a bit odd! There are 2 editiong of Burnt, or is it Bburnt? I can't remember, but I swapped away the bottle I had of the other one. I will swatch it for you if I find it again.

Steph from Steph's Closet posted swatches of some of the new Sally Hansen HD polishes here. I have no idea how she was able to get DVD to not be sheer in 3 coats. DVD was one of my favorites of the 5 I bought, and was dissapointed that after 4 coats if was still sheer. I gave up at this point, and figured that I should just layer it over a black to see how obvious was the duochrome affect in it. And I am happy to say that I am not dissapointed!
First up... Tar by itself. This is 2 coats, and it dries a bit satiny.
And here is with 2 coats of DVD... LOVE THIS!
The only place that these have been sighted so far is Bed Bath and Beyond, you can take a look on their website to see if your BB&B has a health and beauty section. If they do... give them a call ask them if the polishes are available. And if they are to put them on hold for you. That is what I did and was able to snag them! I picked up all 3 blues and the pink and red. They were so pretty when I saw them in person! As a bonus BB&B has them for $4.99, which is the less than I have seen them anywhere else!

This is 2 coats of L'Esprit. I like the color, but I owe you guys a comparison with Essie Lilacism.
I felt like adding something to make it even better, and I should have left it alone.
It was pretty, but it muddied the lilac.
The American Apparel nail polish was sent to me for review.

This is 2 coats, I knew there was no way to turn this polish opaque. So I stopped at 2 coats.
There are a whole lot of StreetWear polishes that are very sheer. I will try to intersperced the opaque ones. So I don't scare you away by showing you my stained nail beds.
